* In playoff games, one referee must be a Level II. Level finals should be refereed by referees from associations other than the teams playing.

Please let your Division Director know when your playoff games are scheduled so that the games and scores can be put on the web.  Home association is responsible for putting the scores up.  Thanks!

Regular season games must be completed by February 7th
Mon, Jan 25 2010

Just as a reminder:  League season games must be completed by February 7th.  The first round of playoffs begin on Wednesday, February 10th.  Several teams have asked whether their makeup league games can still be played off on the weekend of Feb. 13-14th, and there is the occasional game that has even been rescheduled and placed on the web for the 13-14th weekend...unfortunately these games are to be completed by the 7th so please make every effort to make adjustments.
If there is a game score missing on the website, please email the division, tier, game # and score to jgauthier@mcsnet.ca asap. Thanks!

Please post all your scores!
Wed, Jan 20 2010

Please post your game scores as soon as possible!!!

As the regular season is drawing to a close it is imperative that your game scores are accurately reflected in the standings.  If you have missed the "window of opportunity" to post the scores yourself, please email the division (ie.  Novice, Atom, Pee Wee or Bantam), the tier and the game number with the result to jgauthier@mcsnet.ca and the scores will be posted for you.

Please check your schedules to ensure that all your gamesheets have been entered!  Thank you!

Lacrosse for Dryland Training
Tue, Jan 19 2010

Fort Saskatchewan Rebels Lacrosse would like to invite children of all ages to attend Bring a Buddy! Clinics at the Dow Centennial Centre every Monday night.  Lacrosse is a fast, intense, skill development sport much like hockey, however with very little injury rate.  Lacrosse is the ideal cross training sport for hockey that develops, skill, quickness, awareness that the hockey rink alone cannot provide.

Tons of NHL players have enjoyed the sport of lacrosse in the spring, and the benefits the game has provided them as a youth.  Wayne Gretzky, Brendan Shanahan, and right up until guys like Steven Stamkos and John Tavares, just to name a few.  All of them speak highly of the sport and skills they developed playing it.

Fort Saskatchewan Rebels Lacrosse is one of the most successful Lacrosse Programs in Alberta not only in competition, but in retention, and reputation as well.  Registration starts in February.  For further info, attend one of the floor times listed below, or contact me, Dave McGarva, dave@mcgarva.ca or Kent Proctor, kentdproctor@yahoo.ca
